Faith Foo is a distinguished licensed counselor, certified trauma specialist, certified EMDR therapist, and acclaimed author who stands at the forefront of mental health innovation in Malaysia. Based in Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya.

Faith’s visionary leadership is evident in her role as founder of Faith Foo Counseling and co-founder of two groundbreaking initiatives: ABRI Integrated Mental Health and The Bridge International Hub—Malaysia’s premier Korean counseling center. These ventures underscore her commitment to creating inclusive, supportive environments that foster personal growth and emotional healing.

With an enriching 15-year journey as a counselor, and mental health coach, her expertise encompasses a comprehensive range of mental health issues – including depression, anxiety, relationship dynamics, stress management, trauma recovery, PTSD, Complex PTSD, professional advancements, and personal skills.

Thanks to the lessons learned and wisdom gained throughout her 50-plus years on earth—and counting—combined with a decade’s worth of experience in the field of coaching and counseling, Faith is dedicated to showing people how to love themselves deeply and live a life of their own creation. She is confident that no problem is too great to overcome.

Having gone through a challenging period of depression herself, Faith has discovered steps to overcome it and attain inner transformation. The life-changing impact of receiving good counsel and guidance in times of need is why she has made counseling, psychotherapy, and coaching her life’s calling.

Faith’s goal as a counselor and coach is for her clients to be happy, make meaningful and lasting changes – able to relate well to themselves and others.

Faith’s services are meticulously tailored to meet the diverse needs of both international expatriates and local Malaysian clients. Her two-decade career encompasses extensive experience in organizational administration, marketing, and Employee Assistance Program management. This multifaceted background enables her to deliver impactful corporate training and talks on critical topics such as mental health awareness and leadership development.

With holistic therapeutic approach and integrates cutting-edge techniques her unique methodology has established her as a highly sought-after speaker and trainer in the realm of mental wellness. Her influence extends beyond the counseling room through her two published books and numerous insightful magazine articles, touching the lives of readers and clients alike.

Faith believes exploring and discovering oneself—especially the issues, struggles, and vulnerabilities most would rather keep hidden in the dark—can feel painful. So much so that many experience wanting to give up halfway. But it is only in experiencing pain that we open up a pathway for healing and change to take place.
Just like a caterpillar metamorphosing into a butterfly, she sees her clients transforming into their best selves when they learn to trust this process. It is how they’ll grow their wings to fly.

Tapping into her personal stories of struggle and strength, her down-to-earth counseling and coaching methods are highly relatable. Clients feel heard, understood, and less alone in their journey. It enables and empowers them to rise above any obstacles.
