Founder/Director
Dr. Tae J. Oh is the Co-Founder and Director of The Bridge International Hub in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She is deeply dedicated to supporting first-generation immigrants, multicultural families, and their children as they navigate the challenges of adapting to a new cultural environment. With a focus on mental health and relationship-building, she empowers her clients to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives.
Dr. Oh earned a Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Daybreak University in California, a Master’s in Professional Counseling (M.A.) from Washington University in Virginia, and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (B.S.) from George Mason University. Utilizing her extensive clinical experience, she applies integrative therapeutic approaches to help individuals, couples, and families build strong, meaningful relationships.
Dr. Oh specializes in a wide range of issues, including relationship difficulties, trauma, depression, anxiety, parenting challenges, and spiritual concerns. By leveraging evidence-based therapeutic techniques, she provides personalized, client-centered treatment that aligns with each individual’s unique needs, fostering a holistic and tailored healing journey.
As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and a Certified Imago Relationship Therapist (CIRT), Dr. Oh excels at identifying and addressing the core issues that prevent individuals, couples, and families from achieving the fulfilling relationships they desire. She utilizes specific coaching techniques to help clients restore trust and safety, fostering deeper connections.
Dr. Oh believes that the strength of the therapeutic relationship is crucial to the success of therapy. She is committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where clients can explore their goals, overcome challenges, and reach their full potential. Outside her professional life, Dr. Oh is passionate about nature. She finds joy in the beauty of the sky, the calming flow of streams, and the gentle breeze during hikes. She loves dancing energetically, but as she ages, she has found that Pilates is the best way to maintain her physical and mental well-being. She believes that these personal hobbies help her stay vibrant and energized, positively influencing her work as a therapist.
